Get ready to be jealous, other women who work at the salon with Malory! A courier arrives at the salon, saying that he has a special delivery for Miss Malory. She has to sign for it, of course. These gifts can't be trusted to just anyone! Once she does, though, the courier goes outside several times, returning each time with a different gift. First, he brings in a very pretty glass vase with a dozen red roses and baby's breath arranged in a fragrant bouquet. Next, is a smol plush otter with a red ribbon tied around his neck. Lastly, is a long, flat box that has heavenly smells coming from it. If she opens that box, she will find a dozen red velvet cupcakes with tiny heart shaped sprinkles in the whipped frosting. The courier then hands Malory a card that has her name written with very neat script in black in. When she turns it over to open it, she will find that someone has used that same black in to draw an otter on its back and sealed the envelope with a heart shaped sticker that the otter has been drawn in such a way that he appears to be holding the heart. The card is just the usual stock Valentine's day card with its pinks and reds, but inside is a message.
Malory, Happy Valentine's Day. I didn't make those cupcakes because the last thing you need is to be in the hospital with food poisoning. I'll still make you dinner if you want. Cereal with chocolate milk. I'm so fancy, I know. I heard a rumor that the aquarium in Latrommi has baby sea otters. We should go! Oh, but don't worry. I won't tell Bradley you're seeing other otters. Anyway, I hope you have a great day. Don't work too hard, and try to unbusy yourself around lunch if you can. I had some food sent for you too. You can share those cupcakes with your coworkers, I guess, but they can get their own roses.
Sincerely Yours,
Eren
